Day Camp Information
Day camp is a great value and a fabulous alternative to traditional summer daycare for girls ages 6-12 and boys ages 6-10.
In addition to fun and friendships, campers look forward to age-appropriate activities that engage them in fun while they develop leadership skills. At summer camp, girls and boys will discover their personal bests and prepare for positive futures, connect with others in an increasingly diverse world, and take action to solve problems and improve their communities.
Through our unique Girl Scout Leadership Experience, the words of the Girl Scout mission come to life: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
Resident Camp Information
Camp Coleman, Camp Cottaquilla, Camp Trico and Kanawahala Program Center host traditional sleep away/resident camp programs. Volunteer-sponsored opportunities may be added at any of our six camps at a later date. Resident camp is for girls only, and it provides a unique experience that allows girls to meet new friends, master new skills, and become more independent. Activities are designed to provide girls with intentional opportunities to conquer new challenges, experience success, develop leadership, improve self-esteem, and build life skills. Because resident camps are girls only, girls are free to be themselves. Spending a week at camp can build character and help girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives: strong values, social conscience and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. After spending a week at camp, your daughter may surprise you by being more independent and self-reliant.
