Heather Sellers, Camp Manager

Heather began working at GSNCA in December of 2010. Based out of the Huntsville office, her primary responsibilities include the development and delivery of programs for the northern counties and the programming at Camp Anderel. Prior to her position with the Girl Scouts, she was the Education Manager for the Augusta Museum of History in Augusta, Ga.

An Alabama native, Heather has more than ten years of experience working in a variety of museums settings, including the Doak House and Rocky Mount in TN, the Wallace Collection in London, and the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.  Her previous positions have ranged in duties from exhibits and collections to events, visitor services and programs.

Heather graduated magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Museum Studies from Tusculum College in Tenn., and she received her M.Litt. (Masters of Letters) in Early European Art from Christie’s Education, in London.

A third-generation Girl Scout, Heather first became involved in Girl Scouts as a Brownie. In the past, she developed programs for Girl Scouts at the museums where she worked and is very excited to now have the opportunity to develop programs for the troops here in North-Central Alabama.
