Onatonda Lodge

  • Arts & crafts room – 4 tables with chairs and benches; provide your own instructor and supplies
  • Game room – Fireplace, round tables and cushioned chairs, chalk board, closet with indoor and outdoor games
  • Accommodations: Great room – Large room suitable for large group activities, big TV w/VCR & DVD players, fireplace, chairs, ceiling fans (not winterized). Screened dining porch-17 picnic tables, seats 136 on benches (add 10 with chairs). Sleeping quarters – 4 Rooms with 10 beds; 2 private bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower

Boat House

Fire Circle

  • Must provide trained Basic Outdoor person

Swimming Pool

  • Pool open May-September; must read and follow Waterfront Rules
  • Provide your own certified lifeguard with copy of certifications; 25 swimmers per lifeguard (95 max)

Song Hill

  • Located behind Stanley Lodge and overlooking the pool and lake, this area has logs set into the hill for seating leading down to a small platform; good for outdoor singing, stories, etc.

Hiking Trail 1

  • Begins behind Sherwood Unit uphill to a picnic area and outdoor chapel, then downhill to exit behind Onatonda Lodge; takes approx. 1 hour
  • No Fee

Hiking Trail 2

  • Runs  from Huckleberry Unit to Havens Unit
  • No Fee

Fishing

  • You provide your own certified Basic Water Rescue certified person or lifeguard w/copy of certification
  • no fishing from dock at boathouse
  • you provide own fishing gear and bait
  • use of Nature Nook bathroom.

Staffed Program Activities & Fees

Low Ropes Course

  • Group Size: 10-15
  • Cost: $12/person for two hours
  • Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothes & lace-up shoes. Troops provide drinks, snacks, troop first aid kit & qualified first-aider.

Archery

  • Group Size: 10-12
  • Cost: $8/person for one hour
  • Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothes & lace-up shoes. Troops provide drinks, snacks, troop first aid kit & qualified first-aider.

Swimming

  • Group Size: 10-25
  • Cost: $5/person for two hours, plus $50 for lifeguards
  • Special Instructions: Call camp office to check availability of earlier & later dates.

Canoeing

  • Group Size: 10-12
  • Cost: $8/person for two hours, plus $25 for staff
  • Special Instructions: Wear old tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirt, sunscreen, sunglasses & hat.

Kayaking

  • Group Size: 8-10
  • Cost: $7/person
  • Special Instructions: Wear old tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirt, sunscreen, sunglasses & hat. Bring change of clothes, towel & extra shoes. Must have participated in a canoe class.

Fishing/ Cane Poles

  • Group Size: 8-10
  • Cost: $4/person for two hours
  • Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothes & lace-up shoes. Troops provide drinks, snacks, troop first aid kit & qualified first-aider.

Riflery

  • Cost: $8/person for one hour
