Field Trips

KPC offers a variety of programs for groups of all ages. Field trips may include a outdoor science experience, an end of the year picnic, or an overnight adventure retreat.  Our certified, experienced program staff will provide program activities, while your chaperones provide supervision. We can provide meals and special program activities to make your trip to camp perfect.

OUR MISSION: To provide quality outdoor programs that enable participants to develop positive self-esteem, improve sound decision making abilities, and enhance social skills. Through appropriately challenging experiences and progressive, instructional activities, students gain new skills for effective communication, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, resisting negative peer pressure, relating to others, and developing values. The camp experience serves as a building block in the development of students into successful and resourceful citizens.

OUR VISION: To provide Outdoor Education Programs whose specific educational components and activities are designed to enhance the students’ classroom knowledge while improving communication skills, enhancing problem-solving, and building decision-making abilities. Even traditional, recreational camp activities are modified to provide intentional opportunities for students to practice decision-making and problem-solving skills in a safe, controlled environment.
