Kristin joined Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama as creative manager in May of 2013. She supports the communications department by developing design concepts to meet GSNCA marketing and brand objectives. Prior to this position, Kristin worked as a graphic designer for Rocky Heights Print and Binding.
Kristin is a native of Birmingham, AL. Often drawing on the walls as toddler, Kristin’s flair for art and design develop at an early age. Voted most artistic at Ensley Magnet High School, she honed her passion and decided to pursue a career in graphic design. After graduating high school, she attended Samford University where she received her B. S. in Graphic Design. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Kristin became a graphic design intern at Leading Edge Institute, where she found her voice and developed a passion for service and leadership. She was a Girl Scout Daisy and Brownie for a total of five years.
Kristin now serves as a camp counselor and mentor to young girls at Wonder Book Camp. She encourages young women, assists adolescents in overcoming barriers and challenges them to make a difference.
