Michelle Hatala joined GSNCA in August 2013 as a member of AmeriCorps VISTA. She is dedicated to helping at-risk girls achieve their full leadership potential in all aspects of society with Girl Scouts new project, ToGetHerThere. As a recent graduate, Michelle is ready to put her skills to good use and continue her learning throughout the year.
Michelle has always been an active person. She has been involved with Special Olympics and many other non-profit organizations for as long as she can remember. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, photography and a game of basketball.
Michelle is originally from St. Louis, MO and graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a minor in marketing. She has recently moved to Anniston, AL where she will kick off the ToGetHerThere program.
