Annual Giving 2012
Each year with the leadership of the Board of Directors, a team of volunteers leads the annual fund campaign to raise funds to support Council activities. The 2012 goal for contributions is $309,125 with an additional $15,540 budgeted for restricted gifts. Annual giving is vital to GSNCA to support operation of the service centers, crucial budget items such as fall recruitment incentives, food for meetings and office supplies and important communications tools including the Green Ink. Annual Giving makes a difference for GSNCA and we hope you will support us with a gift in 2012!
Family Giving

Alumnae Heritage Society
Help us celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting by joining the Alumnae Heritage Society! For a gift of $100 or more, you will join other Girl Scout alumnae in giving $100 for our 100th anniversary and will be one of the founding donors for the society. In joining you will receive a commemorative patch and enhance the Girl Scout experience for more than 15,000 girls across north-central Alabama. Contact Caroline Powell for more information. Special Events
GSNCA hosts several special events throughout the year. Our annual Women of Distinction Luncheon (one hosted in each area) is a unique opportunity to recognize and celebrate women who have made special contributions to their community through civic, church, academic, or professional involvement.
The GSNCA Fishing Tournament was renamed in honor of its founding patron Bill Ireland. We are already planning for 2012.
Memorials & Honorariums
Looking for a way to honor your favorite Girl Scout? Memorials and honorariums are a great way to show your appreciation for her hard work in her community.
