4 Little Girls (Details)
This patch program was created by Taylor G. Player as part of her Gold Award Project in memory of the Four Little Girls. These girls were killed in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in 1963, during the civil rights movement in Birmingham, AL. This event was a pivotal moment and made an impact on the community and the entire nation.
Birmingham is Beautiful (Details)
Birmingham is Beautiful was created by Veronica Walker and it is a patch that focuses on the murals of downtown Birmingham with the purpose to empower young girls by presenting them with an outlet for their emotions through art.

Civic Leadership Challenge (Details)
Civic engagement is the way members of a community work to make a positive difference in the lives of fellow citizens. Positive change is created by being an active participant in community events, volunteering to help neighbors in need, and participating in government decisions through advocacy or elections. By participating in community events, you learn about things that may need to be changed to better serve all community members equitably. You can make a positive impact, even if you can’t vote yet!

This patch program is designed to teach girls about forming healthy relationships in all aspects of their lives.
Trust, respect, boundaries, and communication are essential components of healthy relationships. A healthy relationship should allow for calmly resolving conflict and compromising whenever necessary. Relationships that are healthy feel like teams rather than one-sided affairs. It is also important to remember that both partners should support each other's dreams and emotions.
Healthy relationships do not always apply to just spouses. Parents, friends, and coworkers should also maintain a healthy relationship with you!

This patch program is designed to help girls learn more about Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouting.

This patch program will help girls learn more about sewing by hand and by machine. The requirements to earn this patch have been collected from past Girl Scout handbooks, badge books, online resources, and more.
Outdoor Skills Patch Program (Details)
The Outdoor Skills Patch Program (OSPP) is a progressive, five-level program to help Girl Scout Daisies to Ambassadors learn and become proficient in outdoor skills. OSPP will allow girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop an appreciation for nature.

When girls have earned this patch, they will have developed an appreciation of the uniqueness and commonalities both of themselves and others and of various cultures in their community and world. This will truly teach them to respect themselves and others and be a sister to every Girl Scout according to our Girl Scout Law.
