Paddle Alabama – Wheeler Wildlife Refuge

Enjoy a casual paddling trip through the heart of Wheeler National Wildlife Reserve. See all that Mother Nature has to offer in North Alabama in one day. No previous canoeing experience is necessary as you will be under the direction and guidance of trained and certified instructors from Alabama Eco Adventures. All necessary canoeing equipment will be provided (canoes, paddles, pfds, etc.). Depending on the weather/temperature, swimming in the lake may be available. The start and end site of the program will be the same. A select number of free chaperone spaces are available to adults who hold current CPR/First Aide AND Basic Water Rescue certification.
