Discover how “heroines” in the past and present put their own strengths and power into action in everyday ways to impact society with age- appropriate activities. Explore what power means in girls’ lives and in society. Girls will see how to put their own power in action and become an Agent of Change. Along with the new Power Up program, girls can focus on strate- gies to prevent verbal and relational bullying. In a bullying situation, most people are not targets or bullies. Power Up helps “bystanders” recognize the strength in their numbers and learn to intervene when they see something wrong. Doing nothing is not an option when it comes to bullying. Girls will work on part of the Agent of Change Journey.
