Q: Why do we have a Fall Products Program?
A: Many troop leaders are excited about having the opportunity to begin the year with great programming and the opportunity to raise start-up funds for their troops. The Fall Products Program is a great way to help defray some of the troop cost between start-up time and the cookie program.
Q: When does the program take place?
A: Our Fall Products Program will take place September 20 through October 11, 2013 .

Q: How many nut/chocolate items are in a case?
A: There are 12 items in every case.
Q: Why should I order magazines through Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama?
A: You won’t pay any more, but 45% of your order will help Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama provide programs, adult training and support for camps.
Q: Can I renew before my subscription is due to expire?
A: Renewals ordered ahead of time will be added on to your existing subscription. To avoid receiving double subscriptions, fill out your order form with name and address exactly as it appears on your current subscription label or tape the label to the order form.
Q: Can I order or renew magazines not listed in the catalog?
A: No. Only the magazines listed in catalog may be purchased or renewed through QSP Reader’s Digest.
Q: Can I order magazines for a business?
A: Yes, however the subscription must be sent to a specific person. Subscriptions sent to a business name, library or media center cannot be processed.
Q: When will customers receive their subscription?
A: New magazine subscriptions begin approximately 12 to 14 weeks after orders are submitted to QSP Reader’s Digest. Online orders are immediately submitted. Paper orders must be processed by the troop, the Association, and Council before they are sent via mail to QSP Reader’s Digest. Renewals begin when the old subscription expires.
Q: Does QSP Reader’s Digest accept coupons?
A: QSP Reader’s Digest does not accept any coupons or discount offers. Only gifts described in the QSP catalog will be provided.
Q: Are checks acceptable payments?
A: Yes, all checks should be made payable to “Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama- GSNCA.” Please write troop number in the “memo” line.
Q: Does the customer need a receipt?
A: Yes! Online customers can print a receipt when they place their order. Paper customers should keep the pink copy of their subscription order form. Not only does it have the number for QSP Reader’s Digest Customer Service, but it is also the customer’s official record of the order and payment should they need it.
Q: When do we collect the payment for magazine, nuts and chocolate?
A: Payment is collected when the customer places their order or on delivery if the troop chooses that option.
Q: What is the Address Booklet?
A: Address Booklet is a way for girls to contact friends and family they may not be able to see face-to-face during the sale. Girls simply fill out the booklets with legitimate names and addresses, and QSP will send subscription information. Approximately three weeks after the first mailing, a reminder will be sent by QSP. Information regarding magazines will be mailed to each person listed in their booklet. QSP Reader’s Digest guarantees that no names or addresses will be shared or used for other solicitation purposes.
Q: If one girl turns in a completed Booklet and has suggestions for names, can she turn in another booklet?
A: No, we can only accept one booklet per girl. However, if you have a booklet turned in from another girl and it is not completely full, you may have the girl with the additional names add her names to that booklet.

A: For questions about forms and deadlines, contact your troop fall manager or service unit fall manager. For subscription related questions, contact QSP Reader’s Digest Customer Service directly at 1-800-678-2673. They are more than willing to assist with any subscription concerns that may arise.
