The Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn. This award symbolizes a Girl Scout Cadette's accomplishments in Girl Scouting and community activities as she matures and works to better her life and the lives of others. The Silver Award is approved by the troop leader or advisor. You must turn in the Silver Award final report to the council upon completion. Several girls can work together on an extensive Take Action project, provided that each girl has her own standalone, individual Silver project within the big project. Each girl must have an individual leadership position and it is suggested that they complete at least 50 leadership hours towards the project.
