Getting Started as a Volunteer
Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering with Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama!
Volunteering with Girl Scouts is a rewarding experience as you will have many opportunities to help and guide girls in your community to become leaders as they develop the courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place. Careful selection and placement of volunteers is a priority for our council.
Step 1: Start the volunteer application process by completing A & B
You must be at least 19 years old to volunteer. If your application is approved, you will be officially appointed to the position for which you are selected. Until officially notified, applicants may not serve in appointed volunteer positions. For example, a volunteer applying as a Girl Scout leader may not begin meeting with the troop as the leader until officially appointed to the position.
